Summary:

Patriot Software Company and its subsidiaries are seeking to grow our Sales and Business Development departments.  We are seeking professionals who possess inside sales and business development skills.

THE FUTURE SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL WILL:

  • Learn Patriot’s existing business development process
  • Suggest, design, and implement improvements to our process where appropriate
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects
  • Qualify opportunities by performing necessary research to effectively meet our partner’s needs
  • Conduct software and product demos
  • Close deals
  • Generation of new leads with the intention of creating more revenue
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Appointment scheduling, preparation, and give online presentations to potential partners
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a partner to securing a deal
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the partners’ dedication
  • Remain in frequent contact with the partners in your responsibility to understand their need
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to partner contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
  • Unearthing new partner opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Travel and represent company at relevant trades shows and conferences around the country

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong communication skills, especially telephone demeanor and confidence
  • Must have the determination, self discipline, and grit to continually develop new partnering/sales relationships via the telephone
  • Ambition to win, possess determination, and a verifiable history of prior success.
  • Technology/Internet savviness and the ability to learn quickly
  • Negotiation skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to think creatively and improve the business development process
  • Superior organizational skills with attention to quality and detail
  • Superior time-management skills
  • Enjoys exceeding goals
  • Ability to attend trade shows and represent the company to prospective partners
  • Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
